Splash Mountain

Page 4, originally uploaded by Holly Not Molly.

We made a bee-line back to Splash Mountain when we got to the Magic Kingdom. The kids didn't know what to expect and the girls weren't too happy with the bath we got! The big photo on the left is the picture that Disney takes and offers for you to buy - it was worth it, for everyone's facial expressions!

Here's the other side of that layout. Our first line to stand in, riding the tram thing to the boat dock, going across the water to the gates.

Another kinda blurry picture, but you get the idea. I stole (I mean, borrowed) the idea from one my friend brought over (that she borrowed from the Internet!). I love how it turned out - a short break for the kids to play back by Goofy's barn at the Magic Kingdom.

Right side of layout to follow!

Here's the facing page - I'm really happy with how this layout turned out!

The pic is kind of blurry, but you get the idea. I used my QuicKutz Frankie font (which I TOTALLY LOVE) for the title and a Mickey head punch for the green heads. The paper is from the princess package of Disney paper.

Next entry will be the right side of the page!

I've been scrappin'! Well, kinda...

Wayne and Wyatt took off for Carlsbad yesterday morning (well, on the 1st), so Amy convinced me to bring scrapbook stuff up to her house and stay here with the girls for a couple of days.

So I quickly packed my Disney papers and album from our November 2007 trip and headed north. Then I discovered that I had left all of my photos at home! A quick trip to CVS took care of that problem, and I was on my way. Or so I thought.

I have gotten about 6 pages done - it's just taken forever to get them finished. I'll be sure to post photos tomorrow. When I started out working on the Disney book, I said I would just make as many pages as there are page protectors in the album. Well, as anyone who's visited Disney World knows, there are too many Kodak moments to pare down to 20 pages! I sat down and counted tonight and I already have 22 pages completed and am only really through the first day in the park.

Sure is fun reliving the fun week we had, though!
